FAQ

  • A: No prior experience is necessary. Yoga sessions are tailored to your level. I love beginners!

  • A: I am currently only taking clients on Saturdays, I recommend booking 2 weeks in advance. If my Saturdays are booked more than 4 weeks in advance, I will do my best to accommodate you on a different day if I am able.

  • A: I provide mobile services in Apopka, Altamonte Springs, and the immediate surrounding areas, departing from near SR 436 & Thompson Rd, Apopka (32703). Travel outside a 10-mile radius is subject to a $2 per mile fee, determined at booking.

  • A: I recommend a yoga mat, bolster, 2 blocks and a strap— though I can provide mat, blocks and straps for up to 10 participants.

Dress comfortably and be ready to move.

  • A: I am trained in a variety of yoga modalities—Yin, Restorative, Hot, Vinyasa, and Hatha—and draw from these styles to create lessons tailored to your needs and skill level. I like to call my approach Vinhatha: we flow, linking breath to movement as in Vinyasa; hold and master poses like in Hatha or Iyengar; and incorporate deep Yin-style stretches before taking rest.

My classes focus on dynamic, mindful movement, breath, and body alignment, emphasizing the physical benefits of yoga. While I do offer quiet reflection and centering meditation, my classes are strictly movement-based and spiritually neutral.

  • I have over 10,000 professional teaching hours in yoga and 3,000+ hours of specialized training spanning yoga, Ayurveda, anatomy, massage therapy, movement, and prenatal/postpartum care.

As a self-proclaimed nerd with a lifelong love of learning, I consider continuing education one of my favorite parts of the job—it allows me to keep growing while offering the best care and support to my clients.

  • A: Yes! Listed pricing is for up to two participants, with an additional $10 per person for groups larger than two.

I just ask that you have enough space for everyone to practice comfortably.

If you would like for me to teach at a location other than your home, you will be responsible for any and all permit or rental fees for that space.

In such cases, I do hold liability insurance for both massage and yoga.

  • A: For those new to massage, it can understandably feel a little nerve-wracking. Before your session, we’ll do an intake where I ask questions about your medical history, medications, and any old or new injuries. This isn’t because I’m nosy—it’s important information to ensure certain modalities are safe and appropriate for you. Your information is protected by HIPPA.

After the intake, I will step out of the room so you can undress to your comfort level and get on the table under the flat sheet. I’ll let you know whether to lie face up or face down depending on the session.

What does “dress down to your comfort level” mean?
It’s entirely up to you. Most clients remove all clothing and underwear, some leave their underwear on, and I’ve even worked with clients fully clothed. The more clothing you have on, the less “flowy” the massage may feel, but we can always work around garments if that makes you feel safe and comfortable.

    Draping & Modesty
Clients who remove clothing partially or completely are draped for the entire session, with only the area being worked on undraped. For those leaving bottom underwear on, briefs are generally easier to work around than boxers.

    After Your Massage
I will step out again to give you time to get dressed. Then, we’ll discuss follow-up stretching or exercises, assess how you feel, and schedule your next appointment if desired.

  • A: Even though I provide massage in your home, I always maintain professional draping and ethical standards. Sessions will immediately end if a client behaves suggestively or requests to remove draping entirely. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment at all times, for both myself and YOU.

  • A: I do not offer full cupping-only sessions at this time, but I may use cupping when it could be beneficial. I also use other tools, such as Gua Sha scrapers for fascial release or acupressure tools for trigger point work.

To enhance the final moments of your massage, I often offer hot towels and herbal compresses.

Clients are always welcome to decline the use of any tools during their session.

  • A: Yes! Clients who provide a suitable table and sheets can receive $15 off per session after the first session.

I’m happy to bring my own bolster and table warmer. Please see the What to Expect page for table and sheet requirements.

Please check out the Tools I Love page for product recommendations.

  • A: I love pets! I have 2 cats and a doggie myself, however, for focus and safety, pets should ideally be kept out of the session room. If this isn’t possible, please let me know ahead of time so we can plan for a smooth session.

  • A: I typically use paraben free, unscented lotion, and can add essential oils if desired.

If you want me to use CBD or other topical analgesics, you will need to provide them yourself. Please notify me of any allergies or sensitivities.
